Purpose
This Code of Conduct establishes a Christ-centered, respectful, and collaborative environment for Vision Classical, ensuring all members reflect biblical values and support our shared educational mission.
Principles
Faith and Character: All members (parents, students, and volunteers) will strive to honor God in their actions, speech, and attitudes, reflecting virtues such as love, humility, and integrity (Colossians 3:12-17).
Respect and Courtesy: Treat everyone with kindness and respect, regardless of differences. Avoid gossip, slander, or disruptive behavior (Ephesians 4:29).
Responsibility: Parents and students are expected to fulfill their academic and co-op responsibilities with integrity including:
Timely completion of assignments and adherence to schedules
Not plagiarizing or submitting AI generated work
Active participation
Safety and Modesty: Maintain a safe environment by following co-op rules and dressing modestly in a manner that honors God and avoids distraction. This includes:
No tank top undershirts for boys
Shorts must extend at least 1.5” below the gluteal crease
Shirts are not to expose the mid-section
No spaghetti straps
No pajama pants
Conflict Resolution: Address disagreements biblically by approaching others directly with grace and humility, seeking reconciliation (Matthew 18:15-17). Escalate unresolved issues to co-op leadership.
Expectations
Parents: Actively support leaders, supervise their children, and model Christian behavior. Attend required meetings and fulfill volunteer duties.
Students: Engage in learning with diligence, respect authority, and treat peers with kindness. Follow classroom and facility rules.
Leadership: Uphold this code, provide clear guidance, and address violations with fairness and grace.
Consequences
Violations may result in warnings, parent conferences, or, in severe cases, dismissal from the co-op, as determined by leadership after prayerful consideration.
Commitment
By participating, all members agree to abide by this Code of Conduct, fostering a community that glorifies God and nurtures classical Christian education.
